What the aarti says, in simple English.
Aarti to Dnyaneshwar, king of knowledge, radiance of supreme liberation – saints serve him and my mind is captivated by him. When true knowledge had vanished from the world and no one knew their own good, Panduranga himself took birth and was named Dnyani. Gopis stand holding golden plates, and Narad and Tumbaru sing the Sama chant. He spoke the hidden truth openly and showed the whole world to be Brahman – Rama Janardan stands still at his feet.
Text as printed in the Marathi Arati Sangrah – sanskritdocuments.org (1999 edition, supplied by Pothipuran). Aartis are sung with small differences from region to region and family to family – if your family sings it differently, both are right.
