What the aarti says, in simple English.
Now may the God who is the soul of the universe be pleased with this offering of words, and grant me this gift of grace. May the crookedness of the wicked fall away and may they love good deeds; may all beings be bound in friendship. May the darkness of sin disappear; may the world see the sun of its own dharma, and may every living being get whatever it wishes. May gatherings of God's devotees, showering every blessing, meet all beings on earth always. They are moving gardens of wish-fulfilling trees, living villages of wish-granting gems, speaking oceans of nectar; moons without a stain, suns without scorching heat – may such good people always be everyone's kin. In short, may the three worlds be complete and happy, and may they worship the Primal Being without end. Then the Lord of the universe said: ‘This gift shall be granted’ – and with this boon Dnyandev became happy.
