What the aarti says, in simple English.
Aarti to Tukaram, abode of the Sadguru – embodiment of existence, consciousness and bliss, show us your feet. Just as Rama made stones float on the ocean, Tukoba's abhangas were kept safe in the water. When weighed on the scales, Brahman itself came up equal to Tuka – that is why Rameshwar placed his head at his feet.
Text as printed in the Marathi Arati Sangrah – sanskritdocuments.org (1999 edition, supplied by Pothipuran). Aartis are sung with small differences from region to region and family to family – if your family sings it differently, both are right.
